Christians tend to resist the God that we say we trust. We have all been guilty of it at one point or another in our lives. It could even be that internal battle with God – feeling Him leading you one way and wanting to go another in your own spirit. It could be our desire to hold on to something even though we know it’s not in his plan for us deep down.
