You didn't choose to feel more reactive this year. Something trained you to. Every scroll and every extra second you lingered taught an algorithm exactly how to keep you hooked. And it worked.
Jesus talked about this long before there was a feed to worry about. Loving people who don't deserve it. Forgiving what you didn't earn. Choosing a real response instead of a reaction. Curiosity was always the harder, better way.
