Generosity

By
Nathanael Sommers

It’s an interesting thing, how we think about money. For so many of us, our relationship with our finances is built on a foundation of scarcity. It’s that voice that whispers, “There’s not enough,” or “You have to hold onto what you have for yourself because no one else is going to look out for you.” It can feel like we’re in a constant tug-of-war between taking care of our needs and the desire to be generous.

This mindset isn’t just about the numbers in our bank account. It's deeply rooted. Our culture tells us that our identity is tied to our net worth, and that all we have is ours alone.

For followers of Jesus, there's a different way to approach finances, giving, and generosity that sets us apart. It’s a reflection of something much deeper.
