Relationships

By
Nathanael Sommers

There’s something sacred about the everyday. A coffee with a friend, standing next to a parent on the sidelines, a text just to check in—these moments can feel small, even forgettable. But what if they’re not?

Throughout history, God has used ordinary relationships to do extraordinary things. From early Church leaders like the Cappadocians to everyday believers today, we see a pattern: when friendships are rooted in faith and reshaped around Jesus, they become something more. Something powerful. Something life-changing.

Relationships aren't always about adding more to your calendar or finding the “perfect” group—it’s about recognizing the people already around you. The ones you eat dinner with. Bump into at the mailbox. Share a classroom or a team bench with.

Sometimes a change in pace and perspective could transform the way you see your relationships—and how God might use them to shape your life and someone else’s.
