POSITION SUMMARY
Grace Fishers is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable person to support our financial administration and provide administrative assistance to our Executive Pastor and Operations Team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records using Aplos accounting software
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including donation tracking and receipt preparation
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Run payroll through Gusto
- Prepare financial reports to support budget management
- Support annual audit reviews and grant reporting (as needed)
- Review and approve expenses through PEX
- Create & maintain digital and physical filing systems
Administrative Support
- Manage email and calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments
- Handle confidential communications (email, phone call, mail)
- Prepare documents and reports as requested
- Support the operations team in coordinating projects with vendors
- Manage and negotiate ongoing contracts as needed
- Provide additional administrative support as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Aplos
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Range: $20-$27 per hour, based on experience
- Flexible hybrid schedule (20 hours per week commitment, Monday-Thursday)
