POSITION SUMMARY
Grace Fishers Church is seeking a creative and relational leader to serve as Kids Ministry Director to support the vision of Grace Fishers Kids by coordinating volunteers, creating engaging environments, and caring for our youngest families. The Kids Ministry Director ensures smooth systems, meaningful connections, and fun spaces where kids and leaders can thrive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Volunteer Support
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of weekly volunteers
- Organize and implement volunteer appreciation efforts
Event Planning & Coordination
- Serve as Volunteer Coordinator for Kids Camp, ensuring teams are recruited, equipped, and celebrated
- Collaborate with team members on special events throughout the year
Program Leadership– Curriculum
- Manage all aspects of large group for infants through 5th grade
- Oversee large group curriculum preparation
Environments
- Plan and implement seasonal hallway décor
- Coordinate décor and environment for volunteer space
QUALIFICATIONS
- Theological beliefs and values must align with Grace Fishers Church
- Previous experience working with volunteers is highly recommended
- Team player who loves equipping and encouraging others
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage details with excellence
- Creative and resourceful, with an eye for environments and details
- Comfortable using technology such as Church Community Builder (CCB), APlay for curriculum, and Microsoft Suite; familiarity with Orange curriculum is a plus
SCHEDULE
- Sundays (7:30 am -12pm)
- 2-3 weekdays (flexible based on ministry rhythm)
