Jesus Asked

Of all the things Jesus said and did, it is his use of questions that stands out. All kinds of questions, in all kinds of situations, with all kinds of people. Interesting, isn’t it? That the God of the universe asked questions? Yet, they seem to reveal a common thread. He asked because there was something He always wanted to know, something he was dying to know. He wanted to know then - and wants to know now: How would you define our relationship? Who do you say that I am?

Jesus taught and modeled what it’s like to love, as God intended us to love. As He did this, He also taught His closest followers everything they needed to carry on His message, after He was gone – often using questions to create teachable moments.
